Account Data & Privacy Controls

At Acelerate, Inc. (operating under the Open brand), we believe you should have clear, simple control over your personal and business data.

This page explains how merchants and customers can access, manage, or delete their information across Open-powered websites, loyalty programs, and dashboards.

  1. Accessing Your Data

    You can request a copy of the personal or business data we hold by emailing privacy@getopen.com.

    Once we verify your identity, we’ll provide a summary of the information associated with your account in a portable format (typically CSV or JSON).


  2. Updating or Correcting Information

    If your contact details, business information, or communication preferences change:

    • Merchants can update information directly in the Open dashboard or by contacting support@getopen.com.

    • Customers can update profiles, phone numbers, or marketing preferences through the restaurant’s Open-powered site or by emailing support@getopen.com.


  3. Data Deletion Requests

    You can ask us to delete your account or related personal data at any time by emailing privacy@getopen.com.
    We’ll confirm receipt and process verified requests within statutory timelines.

    • Customers: We delete personal and transactional data unless retention is required for legitimate business or legal reasons (e.g., tax, fraud prevention).

    • Merchants: Account and order data may be retained for billing, accounting, and audit purposes for up to 180 days after account closure, after which it’s permanently deleted or anonymized.


  4. Data Portability

    Upon request, we can export your personal or business data in a machine-readable format for transfer to another service provider.


  5. Messaging & Phone Numbers

    Any phone numbers or sender IDs provisioned by Acelerate for SMS marketing or transactional messaging remain the sole property of Acelerate, Inc.
    Customer phone numbers and opt-ins collected through Open may be accessed within the platform but cannot be transferred or used outside the Open environment.


  6. AI & Analytics

    We use aggregated, de-identified data to enhance our algorithms, personalization models, and analytics features.
    This process never exposes or shares personally identifiable information.


  7. Cookies & Tracking

    You can control cookie and tracking preferences through the cookie banner on getopen.com or by adjusting your browser settings.
    Essential cookies are required for basic functionality; all others are optional.


  8. Security

    We employ industry-standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring to safeguard your data.
    In the unlikely event of a breach, we will notify affected users and regulators within 72 hours where required by law.
