Overview

LaSorted’s is a 2 location pizzeria in Los Angeles, consistently voted as one of LA’s best pizzas. They serve amazing pizza, focaccia sandwiches, wings, and more and are loved by local patrons (and LA Dodger fans!).

Challenge

Tommy, owner of LaSorted’s, had tried numerous online ordering solutions that he felt like all overpromised and underdelivered. He had most recently switched from Owner to Toast before deciding to switch again and move to Open. When he migrated from Owner to Toast he saw an impressive 15% growth in sales, but felt like there was more juice to squeeze and wanted to partner with a company capable of giving him a terrific branded mobile app.

In addition to an online ordering system, Tommy wanted to partner with a company that helped with marketing. LaSorted’s had a CRM, strong social following, and incredible brand – so we got to work at Open putting together the mobile app and online ordering site while crafting a strategic marketing plan and corresponding calendar to drive serious sales growth. Once we established the foundational elements like the website and mobile app, we were able to further optimize his online presence across Yelp and Google My Business to help drive more top-of-funnel website visits. Upon launch, we leveraged his CRM to attract customers and built a strong feedback funnel to increase his Google reviews to improve his SEO.
